Six months wasn’t enough time to give this bed a proper review. The big question you probably have is would you buy it again? Yes.This has been our nighty sleeper since purchased. We rotated the bed every three months. The wife has been very very happy with the bed as a back sleeper. She praises the deep, relaxing sleep almost every day. Around the 6 month mark, as a side sleeper, I started to have deep pressure points on my hips. I would move around a little and be fine, but I could feel the residual pain later in the day. Update: 3 years later, I still love this mattress. It’s held up, is supportive and comfortable and never sleeps hot. It’s been a very good buy for me. It’s a very good inexpensive mattress that has proven to be a great value.I replaced a 20+ year old Sleep Number mattress with this mattress. I’ve had it over a week now and love it. The mattress is medium firm, which I like. The top layer of gel-infused foam provides a bit of sink in comfort, but not to the extent that it’s hard to move or change positions. Mine expanded to a full 12″ within 2-3 hours of putting it on my bed (I kept the Sleep Number foundation on the bed under this mattress). I don’t wake up with back or shoulder pain at all. Arrived on time and delivered with such great care by my delivery crew! I am assembly challenged but was able to figure it out in about 2 hours. I do wish they have WRITTEN instructions instead of just diagrams – which are NOT chronological but at least tell you where each piece belongs. This bed has a bunch of small legs rather than just a few larger ones to distribute weight. Problem is, these small legs act like needles and have damaged the floor multiple times, resulting in needing repairs. Actual holes in my floor!I have a partner who sometimes stays over and this bed cannot handle the shuffling weight of adults on it. The central legs don’t hold and keep having to get readjusted. This bed frame was so easy to assemble. There were only 5 screws and everything else was partially assembled to make it very easy to follow. The box it came in was super thought out and everything was contained in the headboard. There were custom pieces of styrofoam to ensure that everything stayed in place. When we put it together, it was very sturdy and better than any bed frame we had assembled, most notably IKEA and American Furniture Warehouse. Wonderful frame! Totally thrilled with our choice. Great color, very sturdy, and well made. If your looking for a frame that works for a memory foam mattress this is the one for you!!! It has perfectly spaced slats for a memory foam mattresses, which is what I spent hour searching for. I needed no more than 3 inch spaces between slats and this one matched perfectly. I rarely have the time to write reviews, but I READ them all the time. I purchased this frame because of the price, coupled with the good reviews. And now I want to add my own because this company deserves it!Bottom line: I can’t imagine a better bed for the price—or a smoother assembly.The parts are extremely well made, from the stitching to the metal parts. I’ve been researching beds for about a month for my 16 year old son. This bed came today and everything about it is perfect! It’s actual wood (we got the mahogany in full size) and probably the MOST sturdiest bed I’ve ever got. It came very well packaged with extra packing to fill in the space within the outer-most box. Super easy to put together. The thing that helped the most was that there were small dowels already interred into the holes where needed, which helped to put the bed together. This is the second mattress we have bought under this name. I have had back issues over the years and this particular mattress with the right topper can provide great relief. I was thinking we could get by with the mattress as is but it is extremely firm. Not as forgiving as you would think. So to help that we buy a memory foam topper. The bed is very firm and took a while to get used to. Initially I woke up with such severe body and back pain that I had to move to the couch. After about a week, it got better.
