Of this A1 Brown set, I like these with 2 coats. The shimmery red is more orange than I like & the brown one has a slight grey-ish tinge. I did end up taking that one off and will put a black polish underneath it next time. Most of these – except for the non-shimmery red one – will need to have a black polish underneath to give them some depth. That way, I don’t have to apply 2 coats of the color to get the shade and opacity.Overall, this is good. This is my second set of Beetles colors along with a few other products and I’m in love.I like having my nails done but it’s just not something I can justify spending the money on every two weeks. I’ve spent probably the cost of 3 manicures on colors, tools, and other products and I’ve been keeping my nails done for 3 months now. I LOVE this polish! Some of the colors are solid after only 1 coat. Others like the yellow take maybe 4. I was disappointed to find that the orange is more coral colored than orange.
